Currently, we are looking for L2 IT Technician in Wormer for full time position and permanent.
Kindly see below the scope of work:
Responsibilities will be:
• To provide technical support; answering support queries either onsite or via phone or email.
• To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to IS Policies and Procedures.
• Lead and Mentor other team members to improve and expand their abilities
• To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.
• To log all calls on the call logging system and maintain full documentation.
• Respond to enquiries from clients and help them resolve any hardware or software problems.
• Maintain a log of any software or hardware problems detected.
• Support users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice.
• To escalate more complex service issues to the relevant IT personnel.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving of Workstation related problems
• Maintaining Asset Register of all IT equipment in IS Workshop and Department
• Managing and maintaining Workstations 7/8/10
• Implementing workstations 7/8/10
• Implementing & Support of MS Office 2000-2013 products incl. but not limited to MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint
• Installation and Support of Network & Local Printers
• Installation of Desktop IP Phones
• Required to work long hours from time to time
• Basic MS Active Sync & Blackberry knowledge
• Setups of iPad, iPhone and Android devices
• Ability to do remote support (Tools will be provided)
Requirements:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, must speak fluent English and Dutch
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, with qualifications such as MCSA and MCP being extremely beneficial.
• Good fault finding skills with proven abilities to rapidly diagnose and repair obscure faults.
• Basic networking understanding, which will cover support and administration of Cisco VPN – – –   Experience managing AV systems.
• Support of remote users Ability to support Windows 7 and 10 PC's and Apple/IOS devices, this covers iPhones, iPads and Macs.
• WIFI troubleshooting Process driven and able to work in a pressured corporate HQ environment .
Technical Knowledge:
• Hardware break/fix repair, deskside software break-fix/remediation,
• Installation, Move, Add, Change and Disposal (IMACD) and Lifecycle
• Refresh on end user hardware and software, Enhanced Profile Support, – Hands and Eyes Support for remote Server and Network teams. Day to day activities
• At least 5 years of Experience on providing 2nd line support
• To provide hands and eyes support for remote infrastructure teams
